Nant Gwrtheyrn or "the Nant" as it is often called, is a magical place located in a former quarrying village on the northern coast of the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales. The Centre specialises in Welsh for Adults (as a second language) and offers intensive residential courses throughout the year. A 5 minute drive.
Zipworld is located in Bethesda and holds the european record for the longest zipwire and the world record for the fastest zipwire in the world! you will also recieve a detailed insight into the history of the active quarry the site is built on. about an hour drive.
Gypsy Wood is a fun day out for the whole family. You can ride their very own miniature train, visit all of their friendly animals or just take in the natural beauty of the forests. Only 30 minutes by car.
Glasfyn Parc has something for everyone including archery, ten pin bowling, quadbikes, wake boarding, clay pigeon shooting, coarse fishing, a soft play area for young children and a farm shop (with many more). Only a 15 minute drive.
